We are proud to again participate in the annual Light the Night Walk to be held October 10, 2015 in Indianapolis, IN. The purpose of this walk is to raise awareness to the blood cancers and help fund further research.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) funds the research and development of therapies that save thousands of lives every day. Two examples are targeted therapies that seek out cancer cells and kill them, and the use of a patient's own immune system to kill cancer. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk helps fund those treatments for patients like Joseph, a leukemia survivor.
At just 9 years old, Joseph was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). LLS was there with Joseph and his family from the very beginning with friendship, support and critical treatment information, through daily chemo, aches and pains, weight gain, lumbar punctures and daily clinic visits. Now Joseph is in remission.
Joseph's is just one of the thousands of lives saved because of the LLS work supported by people like you.
Please make a donation and check my Web site frequently to see my progress. Donations can be made by clicking on the "Donate Now" button on the right or by visiting clicking here.
Thank you for bringing us all closer to living in a world without blood cancers!
